		<description><![CDATA[It is with sadness that the Placer County Sheriff&#8217;s Department announces the passing of retired K9 &#8220;Fello&#8221;, partner of Rob Pirtle. &#8220;Fello&#8221; had many great arrests over the years, but retired after a serious bout with stomach torson. He was 13 years old and is missed by his family and members of the Department.]]></description>

Jason Spano passed away on June 11 2011.  Morris was a 12 year old German Shepard certified in patrol,narcotics and an outstanding tracker. Morris  served his community and family well. Ike was the first K9 killed while on duty in Palm Springs. He was a pal to the entire force and is deeply missed. [...]]]></description>
