Officer Goodpaster and partner Drago

Officer Goodpaster‘s partner is Drago, a 75 pound, three year old German Shepard. The team completed their state certification in November 2006. After spending twelve years with the Placer County Sheriff’s Department, Officer Goodpaster joined the Roseville Police Department in 2004. Officer Goodpaster was an agitator for the team, posing as a “bad guy” to help the K9’s with their bite training.

Drago was acquired thanks to a grant from the California Indian Special Distribution Fund, with the support of the United Auburn Indian Community.
